"Fruit Blast" is a sci-fi themed fruit snack brand made for kids, built around a bright, colorful, and playful look. Each flavor gets its own cosmic name and personality, like "Martian Mango," "Galactic Grape," and "Cosmic Cherry," while a shared design system keeps the whole lineup feeling connected. Sparkles, bold type, and a color-coded flavor system all work together to signal fun to a young audience.
The project went from idea to physical product through a full design process. It started with a moodboard to lock in the vibrant, candy-forward direction, followed by a custom dieline to map out the box structure. The packaging then went through three rounds of iteration, refining the logo, the flavor typography, and the placement of nutrition facts, ingredients, and callout badges like "Made with Real Fruit." A die-cut window on the front lets the actual snack peek through.
The final result is a set of printed and constructed boxes shot as retail-ready product photos. Seeing all three flavors side by side shows how well the color system holds up as a family, and the behind-the-scenes and in-hand shots ground the branding in a real, tangible object. "Fruit Blast" shows an end-to-end packaging project, from strategy and structure all the way to production, balancing kid-friendly energy with the practical demands of real consumer packaging.
